THE BIG E

A favorite for all ages both far and wide. "The Big E" is a place of adventure, a place where you can get up close and personal to a Clydesdale horse that stands over 6ft tall and weighs up to 2,000 pounds or more! You may also choose to be enchanted by the Big E Circus under the big top, or to sing-along with one of your favorite artists who might be singing on any one of the three stages, and what's a fair without indulging in some of the most unique, interesting, and unusual foods around, ranging from fried Oreos to pulled pork stuffed corn cakes. And we can't forget to mention vendors from all over selling just about anything your imagination can conjure up.

Folks around here will send you straight to the "Big E", one of the largest and oldest state fairs in the nation, for family fun during the last two weeks of September. Our family has enjoyed the tradition of winding down the summer by attending this fair for over three decades.

A trip to the "Big E" wouldn't be complete without sliding down the iconic yellow slide, and enjoying one of the tasty cream puffs that this fair is known for! So make sure to grab one and soar up to the top of the Ferris wheel for a beautiful view of our part of the Pioneer Valley.
